Pearls of the North
Parels van het Noorden, group show of several artists from the Benelux, represented by their galeries.

The Palais d’IĆ©na, a significant artistic venue, was designed by the architect Auguste Perret between 1937 and 1946 to host temporary painting exhibitions. Until today, it was only opened to the public on national heritage days. It has recently begun to house special events and, during the contemporary art week in Paris, its Hypostyle room will host the project PEARLS OF THE NORTH dedicated to the BENELUX scene. This spectacular exhibition space of one thousand square metres with twenty tapered columns spaced six metres apart (a format favoured by Perret), is well suited to the project enabling the works to be showcased without obscuring the intrinsic qualities of the architecture.
